Kangala Wildlife Rescue is a small, dedicated team based on Kangaroo Island. Every day, they respond to calls for injured, orphaned, and displaced native animals from kangaroos and koalas to echidnas, birds, and possums.
While Valerie’s rescue was unusual, Kangala’s mission is constant: to give vulnerable animals a second chance.
